用咖啡回报这份爱：在德国，成年人每天要喝掉约两升的咖啡，厚重的咖啡文化，烙印在他们生活之中，这在今年66岁的德国人爱卡德先生身上，尤为明显。公元17世纪，爱卡德家族授封爵位，并有了自己可以传世的族徽，如今荣耀依然，生活却归于平凡。作为家族仅有的继承人之一，毕业后的爱卡德，开启了闯荡世界的旅途，在走过了大半个地球后，2002年爱卡德夫妇来到了宁波。勤奋的工作之余，教授德语，积极帮助初到宁波的外国朋友，组织聚会，买菜做饭，打太极，种花草等等这些，组成了爱卡德夫妇在宁波平淡又幸福的十数年光阴，不知不觉间，宁波变成了可以称之为家的地方，宁波也同样把他们当成自己的家人。从政府到学校，从学生到朋友，那些无私的帮助，让最艰难时候的爱卡德感受到了暖心的慰籍。在开启生命的新篇章中，这里将是他生活和事业的沃土，也承载着爱的归宿。用智能化设备制作出纯正的欧洲咖啡饮品，是拥有机械工程高级学位的爱卡德一直的梦想。站在中国快速发展的风口之上，他愿意去做一个咖啡文化的传道者，拥有出色机械智能化技术的好友郑宁成为了他实现梦想的伙伴，两人一拍即合，开始了咖啡机器人的研发工作。
